With over 20 years of experience in commercial photography, I specialize in creating visual assets that help businesses sell. I take pride in understanding the marketing goal behind every shoot—whether it is driving clicks on an Amazon listing or winning a construction bid. I am not just in the business of taking photos; I am in the business of building long-term vendor relationships with reliable, consistent results.

 

 

 

Commercial projects are quoted based on the scope of work.
To ensure you only pay for what you need, I separate my time (Creative Fee) from the deliverables (Image Production). This allows for flexibility whether you need a single hero shot or a full library of content.

 

1. High-Volume Product Rate:
Ideal for e-commerce catalogs and Amazon listings. You pay a simple per-image rate (starting at $40/image), which includes the shoot, standard retouching, pure white background, and unlimited web usage licensing. Volume discounts apply for large product lines.

 

2. On-Location Creative Fee:
Best for Architecture, Industrial, and Branding. This fee covers the pre-production planning, photographer’s time on set, and equipment.

Half-Day Creative Fee: $775
Full-Day Creative Fee: $1,500

Includes travel within the Central Okanagan. Standard commercial licensing (Web & Social) is included.

Note: Advanced retouching and image selection are billed as a separate per-image production fee to ensure you only pay for the final assets you select.

What is your standard turnaround time?
For most product and e-commerce projects, images are delivered within 5-7 business days after the products arrive at the studio. Rush delivery (48 hours) is available for an additional fee.

 

Do I get the RAW files?
No. You are hiring me for the finished visual asset, not the raw data. You will receive high-resolution, color-corrected, and retouched JPEGs (or TIFFs upon request) that are ready for immediate use in print and web.

 

How does shipping work?
You are responsible for shipping products to my Kelowna studio. Once the shoot is complete, I will repackage them. You can provide a return shipping label, or I can invoice you for the return shipping costs. If you do not need the items back, I can donate or dispose of them.

 

Do you require a deposit?
Yes, on shoots over $1,000. To secure your shoot date or spot in the production queue, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final gallery.

 

How are the images licensed?
My rates include standard commercial usage rights for your company’s website, social media, and Amazon/Shopify listings. Large-scale advertising campaigns (Billboards, TV) or Third-Party Usage (transferring images to another vendor) are available for an additional licensing fee.
